If you put a piece of Himalayan salt in a glass jar with water it will within 24 hours give the water a stable saturation of 26%, this solution called Sole can be used in several different ways, from a teaspoon every morning to drive out heavy metals from your system and stabilize the sensitive Ph level that determines your overall wellbeing, to an effective toothpaste where all you need to do is just dip the brush in the saltwater before brushing.

When it comes in the shape of lamps it has the completely natural effect of ionization. It eliminates the negative energy radiating us all from practically anywhere these days, and helps us energies ourselves in a deteriorating environment. You no longer have to suffer from allergies to understand the negative effects of big city living, all of us are affected each minute of our lives by the positive ions in the air.

What we need is a safe haven. We all need to recuperate from the environmental wounds once we are at home and we all have the possibility to do that with natural minerals and oils.

Did you know that a foot soak with a few drops of Black Pepper essential oil will have a detoxifying effect on your system? Or that a drop of Eucalyptus essential oil in your Neti pot will refresh your sinuses and oxygenate your whole body? Or maybe that Cinnamon essential oil is the most irritating oil there is to your skin? The world of essential oil is boundless. Its healing properties, its effect on the mind and senses while you hold the small glass bottle beneath your nose has been alluring scientists for ages; opening up a world of possibilities as you mix them together in different concoctions. From the time the essential Rose oil was first distilled in Persia during the 9th century it grew over the next few hundred years into a tradition even the farmers could do. By the 13th century 47 different essential oils were traditionally distilled and used by German farmers.

Another favorite essential oil of mine is Clove, with Cinnamon and Sweet Orange in a burner it will smell like Christmas, but I love it most for its calming effect on your gums if infected or just irritated during PMS that so many women suffer from without being aware of the connection. Just put a drop or so on your finger and massage the gum affected as a quick fix that lasts.

There are many effects of essential oils, including negative ones. You should always be careful and study up on any oil you might have bought before you use it. Never buy an oil which quality you doubt about, a real essential oil should be pricey as they take a lot of flowers, leaves etc. to extract and the process itself is complicated. Once you buy the real thing and learn how to use it the most effective way, you will not be disappointed. There is a world of possibilities.

Remember that any citrus essential oil should never be applied on the skin during daytime, since it is photosensitive and might cause a burn when exposed to the sun. The vitamin C however in these oils is a great night recovery for the skin and helps reduce fine lines.
You can also use the oil you know for certain is real as an herbal tea. It depends on the oil what quantity to use in a hot cup of water, but a standard is two drops. Of course you shouldn’t do this if you’re not sure of the process. For relieve of tension headaches and stomachaches Marjoram is safe to use and very effective at two drops in a hot cup of water. And also topically used in a carrier oil over the affected area.

So take a minute and relax in your home with a salt lamp for recovering your energy or some lavender perhaps in an essential oil burner to heal the mind; ending the path of anxiety once and for all.

I have tried the neti pot with Eucalyptus essential oil mixed with water. At the start my head was hurting a lot, i guess its because the liquid went to some part of my head(not sure where about), then I holded for another few seconds, the liquid start to came out of my nose. Frankly speaking it was not enjoyable while I was doing it, but after I have done it, I felt very refresh for the whole day. It was a nice experience.
