Hi Everyone!
My name is Keith and I am a Health Coach. Well, that’s part of the story… I am still employed in the corporate world (in my 25th year; do companies still give out gold watches?).
After all those years in various international sales and marketing roles, the lifestyle finally took its toll. Of course this changed my life and I would like to share my experiences and passion with you.
Over the next few months, I shall be sharing my story of how I got my health back under control (hope I am not tempting fate, here) and rather unexpectedly discovered a passion for “wellness” and helping others take their first steps in this journey.
If you are suffering from an imbalance in your life, which may have resulted in:
- weight gain;
- high stress levels;
- burn out symptoms;
- chronic disease;
- difficulties in your family and love life;
you have come to the right place. My blog is going to help you! I shall be exploring, in a rather down to earth way (I am new to this, remember!) how you (yes, YOU), can find the thing I found again:
- a healthier way of eating to get more control of your weight;
- ways to prevent diseases such as gout (my favourite), diabetes, arthritis and cardiovascular disease (and no, I haven’t had all of these);
- how to find out who you really are and what you are craving for in life (not just for certain foods!);

- strategies to reduce your stress levels;
- an improved work-life balance;
- higher energy levels.
See you all soon, where, seeing as it is almost Valentine’s day, I will be posting about raw chocolate, some history, culture and health benefits. Which I can tell you is much more interesting than reading about gout…!
If you would like more information on where to get raw cacao, or more recipe ideas, contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or visit www.keith-collins.healthcoach.integrativenutrition.com

sorry for the delay to get back to you. I dont really know of any "quick way" to aleviate gout other than taking NSAID's. in my opinion, prevention is better. you are already doing a lot of great things. I found a holistic approach to work for me...stress management;nutrition (adding in alkaline foods and of course avoiding high purine containing foods); lots of water and exercise. feel free to suggest to your husband to contact me at collinsfk@hotmail.com and I could go into more details. hope the pain goes way soon...i shudder, just thinking about it!
